(Mountain View, CA)  --  Google will tap an internal ad executive to take over at YouTube.

"The Information" says senior vice-president of ads and commerce Susan Wojcicki will take over the CEO role at the video sharing service in an effort to boost ad prices.

The site has struggled to charge more for its ads as the supply of videos continues to exceed advertiser demand.  She was Google's 16th employee and briefly housed the search giant in the garage of her home in Menlo Park.
