(Undated)  --  Alicia Keys is parting ways with BlackBerry.

Last year, the company enlisted the singer as its "creative director."  The company tells CNN that they have "completed [their] year-long collaboration" with the singer.

Keys' time with the smartphone maker will officially come to an end on January 31st.  During her stint with the BlackBerry, Keys helped launch the BlackBerry 10.

Through the company's "Keep Moving Project" the singer also asked fans to send pictures of themselves with the promise to use them in one of her music videos.

Keys' involvement with the BlackBerry 10 couldn't help the device pick up sales.

In September, BlackBerry took a nearly one-billion-dollar hit from unsold phones.  That month they also announced plans to cut four-thousand-500 jobs.
